West Creek Park was added as the newest member of the Santa Clarita park system in November 2016, when the West Creek and West Hills communities were annexed to the city. Located next to Rio Norte Junior High, the park features a fitness course, full-court basketball, two large pavilions, a playground, and a path to the Cliffie Stone Trail. It also offers convenient parking and plenty of pavement for biking with the kids.

The toddler section of the playground includes a small climb/slide structure, metal climbing wall, and rocking horses on a wood chip playing area.
In The older kid section includes a four-sided spring bouncer, a swing set, and a large artificial rock for climbing. Overall, there isn't much playground equipment at West Creek but there are a few unique features that no other park offers. Kids love climbing that rock!
There's a very nice outdoor basketball court, enclosed by fencing and a stone wall and adorned by rosebushes. No need to worry about your ball rolling 50 yards away after a missed shot!
If you head north from the playground/basketball area, you'll find the fitness course. You can walk/jog the fitness course on pavement or on a dirt path, which leads to four different fitness stations where you can do dips, pull-ups, balance beam, parallel bars, high bar, and more.
To the south, West Creek Park is connected to the Cliffie Stone Trail, which is a 2.92 mile trail that runs parallel to the San Francisquito Creek Trail. Check out the Quick Guide to Cliffie Stone Trail for a trail map and other helpful information.
For large gatherings, reserve one of the two covered pavilions, each of which includes 4 stone picnic benches, 2 BBQ grills, and a power outlet.
West Creek Park is a nice addition and another gem in our Santa Clarita park system!
