Here's one of our annual Mac Kid favorites: Magic Mountain's "Bag-a-Ticket" food drive. Contribute to a great cause and get FREE admission to Magic Mountain! The LA Food Bank holds a food drive every year at Magic Mountain during the week of Thanksgiving. In exchange for one bag of non-perishable goods, you get an admission ticket good for that day only. It's the least expensive way to get your family into the park! Plus, you are contributing to a great cause and helping out the food bank.
The food drive this year will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018. The park is open from 10:30am to 9:00pm. Holiday in the Park begins at 5:00pm. Food items will be collected from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
Some additional tips:
* Drop off your groceries and passengers before parking. This will save you the hassle of having to carry your groceries all the way from the parking lot. As you drive toward the booths where you pay for parking, stay on the left lane. You can make a left turn into the valet parking / drop-off area right before you reach the parking attendant booths. Take all your bags to the LA Food Bank tent and they'll give you a ticket for each bag.
* Parking is $25. No way to get around this unless someone can drop you off.
