The mother of all Santa Clarita parks, Central Park has it all! With 10 sports fields, 8 basketball courts, 4 baseball fields, an 18-hole frisbee golf course, dog park, shaded playground, outdoor fitness equipment, community garden, even an outdoor ping pong table and giant chess board!
This quiet and solemn area of the park is the Youth Grove and it is dedicated to Santa Clarita youth who have died in traffic-related incidents. Each stump has a plaque with a young person's name and age - a life cut short - reminding all to drive responsibly.
Near the basketball courts at Central Park, there is a fitness zone with bars for pull ups and push ups, parallel bars, lat pull downs, sit ups and even a skiing machine!
The city plans to build several tennis courts at Central Park in the coming years. One of the main summer attractions in Santa Clarita are the weekly concerts that are held here. There's something for everyone here at Central Park!
