Santa Clarita is home to 35 beautifully designed and well-maintained parks - one of the reasons why we love it here! Now there is more reason to love our parks with last year's opening of Canyon Country Park's western-themed playground! As Santa Clarita’s first Inclusive Play Area for all ages and abilities, the playground features a dual-track zipline, accessible ramps to the play structure, and sensory-friendly elements.
Visitors will find a unique play structure that's not available at any of the other Santa Clarita parks, including a ropes course, merry-go-round, swing set with a variety of swings, and numerous climb and slide structures for toddlers and older kids. Large trees and canopies provide shade throughout most of the playground.

The swing set at Canyon Country Park offers 4 different types of swings: regular swings, pod-style swings, parent & me swings, and a saucer swing:
The merry-go-round is enjoyed by all kids and cannot be spun at high speeds for safety reasons:
Numerous activity stations around the park include an electronic memory game (similar to Simon), a sliding picture puzzle, Three-in-a-Row (similar to Connect Four), and labyrinths:
Benches and a pavilion are perfect for birthday parties or a quick picnic and are conveniently located next to the playground.
The music stations include drums, xylophones, and even a piano!
Don't miss Canyon Country Park's second playground, located at the top of the hill! Follow the paved walkway up the hill where you'll find 9 fitness stations and nice views of the 14 freeway along the way. The playground at the top of the hill offers swings, a challenge structure with ropes, and a climb/slide play structure. It's worth the trip!
Canyon Country Park also has a baseball diamond, BBQ areas, and community room. Enjoy!
