Plum Canyon Park, Santa Clarita's 35th park, is now open! Located on Skyline Ranch Road, near the corner at Plum Canyon Road, the park features a shaded playground, 3 separate fitness areas, a pavilion with picnic tables, a full-sized basketball court, baseball field, parking lots at both ends of the park, and a trailhead.
Like many in the city, the playground at Plum Canyon Park has separate play areas for toddlers and older kids. Both areas have a canopy for shade and wood chip ground cover. A playground highlight at Plum Canyon Park is the merry-go-round, a feature that isn't available at most of Santa Clarita's playgrounds. Kids will enjoy the variety of slides, climbing structures, and activity stations.
With 4 picnic tables and a BBQ grill, the nearby pavilion is perfect for birthday parties and easily accommodates most groups:

Plum Canyon Park offers three separate fitness zones, all located on a dirt surface and under canopies for shade.
The well-groomed baseball field includes shade structures for the dugout and spectator areas. This is the only area of the park that is still under construction, with the backstop fencing and field lights yet to be installed:
