1. Putt Your Way to this Free DIY Father's Day Gift

Head to Home Depot for their in-person Kids Workshop! Each kit-pack includes a certificate of completion, an apron pin and a Kids Workshop apron. Easy enough for a 5-year old, but fun for all ages, this pre-cut wooden kit encourages creativity and instills a sense of accomplishment. You will learn to hammer and create really cool stuff! This month kids will make their own putting green — a perfect DIY Father's Day Gift! Saturday, June 3. 

2. Animal Show @ Placerita Nature Center

Come visit the Placerita Nature Center and meet the Animal Ambassadors who live in the canyon. You will learn what the animals eat, where they live, their physical attributes and much more! Placerita Canyon Nature Docents/ Naturalists and staff will lead the discussion and answer all of your questions. Saturday, June 3. 

3. Flutterby Open Art Studio at Artree Community Arts Center

This open art studio is held every first Saturday of the month. Families get to work and create together - different arts projects are available. Registration required for each family member attending. Saturday, June 3. 

4. Halfway to Home: Petco Meet and Greet

Halfway to Home is a nonprofit, no-kill, dog rescue that is devoted to finding the best furever homes for our dogs. Join Halfway to Home at the Santa Clarita Petco for free family fun with furry friends. All dogs are adoptable so come meet your new best friend.

5. Nest: Healing Art Open Studio

Nest is a free program consisting of an an hour of mindful, judgement-free art making. Mindfulness practices, both in meditation and in art, can help our ability to regulate our feelings, decrease stress, and focus our attention. This program is intended for teens and adults.
