The Friends of the Acton–Agua Dulce Library invite you to come peruse the giant selection of bargain priced books at their semi-annual book sale. While browsing the selection of books, stop and check out the Local Arts and Crafts Fair. Saturday, September 16.

2. πŸ₯ REMO Saturday Morning Kids Drum Circle

Kids Drum Circle for the Whole Family. A fun creative safe place to explore music, rhythm, and percussion instruments. Saturday, September 16.

3. International Day of Play - Mud Day!

Come join us for a free day of play! We will have mud/splash zones, construction zone, art and more! All ages welcome! You may want to bring a towel :) Saturday, September 16.

An easy 1-hour walk exploring the area’s natural and cultural history. Saturday, September 16.

5. 🎢 Music Lab for Kids: Making a Theme Song

Create a theme song for your favorite show, book, or game using GarageBand on iPad. We’ll cover rhythm basics, and kids will get hands-on with experimenting with Smart Drums, adding pre-recorded loops, and remixing their theme song. Bring your iPad or we’ll provide one. 6. πŸ₯Ύ Twilight Hike @Placerita Nature Center

Twilight Hikes are free to our patrons and typically suitable for ages 6 and up, but everyone’s welcome of course. During the hike we’re seeing Bats, baby Western Toads, Orb Weaver Spiders, our resident (female) Great Horned Owl, some Planets (Mars and Venus), Constellations and tons of Scorpions: at least 20 -30 on each of the past two weekends.
